Das Neuwerk-Magazin ist die führende Publikation der Designwissenschaft an der Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle.

Die Ausgabe widmet sich dem Thema "Kontakt" und zeigt anhand ausgewählter designwissenschaftlicher Artikel und Praxisprojekte die vielfältige Rolle des Designs als Schnittstelle zwischen Menschen, diversen Entitäten und der Welt.
Das Magazin präsentiert Inhalte, die die Bedeutung von Design bei der Schaffung von Verbindungen und der Überwindung von Grenzen verdeutlichen.
Die siebte Ausgabe bricht mit traditionellen Lesegewohnheiten und bietet ein interaktives Erlebnis durch ein Wort- und Bildregister, welches alle Beiträge miteinander verknüpft.
