Digitale Spaziergangswissenschaft

Dieses Videoprojekt  ist eine Annäherung an den Versuch einer digitalen Stadterkundung. Objekt ist der Ort Greppin, ein Dorf im Chemiepark Bitterfeld-Wolfen.

Greppin ist seit langem von der Chemieindustrie geprägt und vereint Elemente einer ländlich-idyllischen Umgebung mit industriellen Einflüssen. Diese Verbindung wirft einige Fragen auf: Wie definiert sich "Dorf" inmitten eines Chemieparks? Welche Bedeutung haben "Landschaft" und "Park" in diesem Kontext?

Das Projekt überträgt die Methode der Spaziergehkunde in den digitalen Raum und untersucht observatorisch, wie man sich einem Ort auch nähern kann, wenn ein physischer Zugang nicht möglich ist.

Mithilfe von Social Media und anderen Quellen werden verschiedene Perspektiven, Geschichten und Bilder von Greppin gesammelt. Es wird aufgezeigt, wie man digitale Repräsentationen nutzen kann, um die Vielfalt und Vielschichtigkeit einer Ortschaft zu erkunden.
